MARIING itinanggi ng Malacanang ang mga naglabasang ulat na may memorandum na nag-aatas ng no-contact apprehension sa mga colorum o ilegal na transport network vehicle services (TNVS) drivers o operators.
Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo, walang utos mula sa tanggapan ng Pangulo kaugnay sa nasabing dokumento.
“The Office of the President advises the public that Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea has not signed or caused the release of a particular document, which is labeled as Memorandum No. 636, purportedly adopting a no-contact apprehension for (TNVS) drivers or operators,” paglilinaw ni Panelo.
Sinabi naman ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Undersecretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure Mark de Leon, na bogus ang kumakalat na memorandum sa social media.
Binigyan diin naman ni Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) Chair Martin Delgra III na ang mga “colorum” o hindi rehistrado na TNVS drivers at operators ay huhulihin pa rin ng mga traffic enforcers.
